Integrity
All forms of deceit and dishonesty constitute a lack of integrity: they call into question whether an individual can be relied upon, damaging the effectiveness of the team and organisation. Integrity demands that those who are in positions of authority, at whatever level, set the highest standards and are fair and consistent to their subordinates. A leader’s example in personal behaviour is vital to the effectiveness of the team and organisation and to the development of our young people.

Loyalty
Loyalty binds our organisation together at all levels: it goes both up and down. It turns individuals into teams, creating and strengthening the formations, units and sub-units of which the organisation is composed. The organisation’s loyalty to the individual manifests itself in many ways, with fair rewards and support to all employees, clients and service users through compassion and understanding.

Selfless commitment
In understanding selfless commitment we understand why we have chosen our vocation. To put others needs before our own, to make things better for our customers and service users, our team mates and the communities we serve. We understand that this may at times require a degree of self-sacrifice yet do this willingly to the benefit of others.

Adaptability
A commitment to our values across all roles and positions in the organisation allows us to be adaptable; open to information and opinion from every available source, and be able to adapt to this new knowledge. All roles demand an ability to adapt at short notice and to respond to fresh developments. Every individual embraces change to move the organisation forward and to be innovative in our approach.

Humility
Military Standard Training has a relatively understated approach. This is not just false modesty; In order to adapt and innovate it is essential that the organisation, while proud of its standards, remains humble enough to recognise and adopt the good practices of other institutions. Humility also contributes to the essential bond at all levels up and down within the organisation and allows us to work with considerable success.
