To launch the town’s one hundred and nineteenth summer season, Rochdale-based celebrity chef Andrew Nutter created five culinary masterpieces to serve to guests at the top of the Blackpool Tower, one to match each attraction inside the famous building; The Illusion, An Adventure, Trick or Treat, The Waltz and By Eck’ It’s Good.
As well as enjoying tastes from across the region, guests sipped an exquisite SkyWalk cocktail as they watched the sun set over the Irish Sea, before being wowed as the 518ft tall building was lit up to reveal its new sparkling image, made up of over 20,000 lights. This is only the second time in the Tower’s 119 year history that it’s been completely illuminated, brightening up the Blackpool skyline.
