What away to celebrate the last Bank holiday of the year, with one of the biggest parties we have ever done to this day. Nutters Garden Party which was held on Monday the 26th as a free entry event. Thankfully the weather was on on our side and everyone that attended basked in 30 dregree rays and along with that we had plenty of food and drink for all 2000 people that turn up to support and have fun at nutters restaurant. Andrew was there with his famous Nutters suckling Pig which was popular as ever and sold out in record breaking time. We had enough burgers to feed a small country as well as posh dogs with luxury onions, it all went down very well with the guests. Drink was flowing all day long from the pimms tent down on the bottom lawn, too the Gin tent on the patio area which served a wide range of gin from pinksters, bombay sapphire, peardrop and many more, and all tonics were provided by Franklin and sons with an array of flavours. On top of that 25 plus kegs of Budvar lager was served across the day.
Then on the bottom lawn we had our main entertainment stage which hosted four local bands, for example Joe Dunn which one of the four that played throughout the day. All helping to create the electric atmosphere on the day.
We also didn’t forget the little ones as it was a family fun day after all. There was plenty for them to do as well from pony trekking at the top of the car to three bouncy castles and a ice cream truck as well as all the grounds for them to play which was all fenced off to create a safe enivironment so parents didn’t need to worry.
Damien Brierley (General Manger) Went on to say “It was great to see the local community enjoying a traditional bank holiday in the sun”
A massive thanks needs to be made to Daimen Brierley and Shaun Murray for organising such a wonderful event for all that was involved, as well as all staff that was there on the day.
So we look forward to seeing you all next year at Nutters Garden Party 2020
