It was a weekend of sheer extravagance as Nutters Restaurant celebrated its 21st anniversary with a key of the door 21st birthday bash.

Sixty-five members of Rock Choir flash mobbed the event during its garden fete street food reception which truly shocked and wowed the 180 guests who had booked months ago to be part of the sell-out event. The rock choir with members from Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport and Middleton performed 3 songs including the show stopping “you’re the voice” Phil Reynolds Rock Choir Leader said,

“It was an honour to be asked to perform at Andrews Celebration. The atmosphere was amazing and it was a great opportunity to showcase our vocal talents to the local community”.

Guests were treated to a gourmet menu including sumptuous Limousin beef main course and a truly decadent dessert of strawberries and cream shortbread torte. Residents of Norden village were invited to take part in the celebration as 10 “lucky” keys were hidden in the village with clues going out on Twitter. The lucky finders having the chance of winning a meal for 2 at the award winning restaurant.

Andrew was thrilled at the success of the weekend,

“Looking back when I opened the restaurant on the site of the New Inn aged 21, little did I think I would be in the magnificent setting of The Manor 21 years later and still pushing the restaurant to even more success. Not only at the business but with events such as the Rochdale Feel Good Festival where I’m delighted to be demonstrating at once again this year. Not only did the guests enjoy the event, in the process it also raised £2,500 for Springhill Hospice from various raffles and fun stalls”.
