St. Modwen Logistics is delighted to be supporting Mind charity for mental health, as our first ‘Charity of the Year’.
We will be raising money for the charity at our regular scheme launch events, as well as through various employee initiatives throughout the year such as group fitness activities and targeted fundraising opportunities.
Mind provides advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
As a team, we understand the importance of mental health awareness and have a number of initiatives in place to support staff health and wellbeing. We strive to create an open culture to support and discuss mental health and St. Modwen has provided mental health training to 59 of our employees across the business, who are now champions of mental health awareness in our offices and provide confidential support to colleagues who may be in need.
We have also provided interactive training for all management employees to help them recognise and identify potential mental health issues and give them the tools to help, as well as implementing an awareness campaign to promote the free help available to employees who are struggling with emotional challenges.
In addition to our fundraising efforts, we are also committed to raising awareness for mental health and supporting Mind charity in their efforts to provide advice and support to those in need.
